Free Workshop with Raúl Marquez - Friday, March 28th 6:45 - 7:45 pm

We are thrilled to be able to offer a diverse array of workshops for participating dancers. Dancers have the opportunity to take ballet, contemporary, hip hop, floor work, improvisation, modern, street dancecreation practices and Indigenous dance. We also have two seminars focused on the healthy dancer, The Mind's Impact on Performance and Injury Prevention. Our festival is focused on educating the whole dancer. Youth Dance Fest East is thrilled to welcome Raúl Marquez, a contemporary movement artist, who will be offering a FREE movement class for any young person interested in trying dance! At YDFE, we believe dance is for everyone and are excited to offer this opportunity for young people ages 9 and up. This class will introduce students to basic dance vocabulary and movement. The class will be held at the Dance Fredericton studios.
