Daneen Dymond
Daneen Dymond is a compassionate and dedicated Health and Wellness educator with over 20 years of experience in New Brunswick. As the current lead for the Centre of Excellence for Health at the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD), Daneen is committed to promoting health, mental fitness, and physical education while nurturing the overall well-being of youth, educators, and communities.
Since beginning her teaching career in Fredericton in 2005, Daneen has also shared her expertise as a university instructor for Health Education at the University of New Brunswick since 2008. She has led curriculum development, delivered personal wellness workshops throughout the Maritimes, and inspired countless students and educators to prioritize mental health and physical literacy.
Daneen’s leadership transcends the classroom. She has been a vital member of the District Health Advisory Committee and led initiatives like Healthy Promoting Schools Teams, which support New Brunswick School Improvement Plans. Holding a master’s degree in education with a focus on Positive Mental Health, she integrates mental fitness into her work to create thriving school environments.
With certifications in Yoga in Schools and Mindfulness in Schools, alongside over 500 hours of mindfulness training, Daneen brings innovative, heart-centered approaches to personal wellness education. Her passion for empowering youth and creating positive, supportive environments continues to inspire educators and communities across New Brunswick.

standing and walking, target both over and under-used muscles in your body to provide
balance and prevent future injury. Discover what is missing in your body’s length and
strength, find simple real life practices to feel better. Expect movement and interaction
